14.11.21

Arlene Mansoor, Partner, has successfully defended our client, an Instagram model & influencer, accused of drugs importation at Isleworth Crown Court. The matter was transferred to the Central Criminal Court sitting at the Nightingale Court at Aldersgate House.

Our client was accused of having imported Class A drugs to their home in London from Los Angeles, USA, for onward supply. They were jointly charged with their partner.

The defence asserted that our client’s address and details were publicly available through their social media channels and often received unsolicited parcels, for promotions and advertisements. The controlled drugs in question were sent to our client by an unknown 3rd party, without their knowledge.

Ryan Dowding of 3 Raymond Buildings and Arlene Mansoor, assisted by Toby Manhire, successfully prepared and presented our client’s case to the jury, who returned a unanimous verdict following a 10 day trial.

We are very happy the case has been successfully resolved on behalf of our client had their modelling and influencer career halted by virtue of these allegations.
