Colette Kelly was privately instructed on behalf of a young client who had been interviewed under caution by the police concerning allegations of possession and distribution of indecent images through a dormant Facebook account which was alleged to belong to her. The allegations were vehemently denied by our client in interview and thereafter we were privately instructed to carry out a detailed and forensic investigation to prove our client’s innocence.
Following our investigation we were able to present evidence to the investigation team which proved that our client was innocent of any wrong doing. Following the police verifying our work through their own investigation, the allegation was withdrawn by them.
The investigation was very distressing for our young client and her family. We are very pleased that there has been a successful resolution which will not impact our client’s university education and career prospects.
