Giulio Pagano // Trainee Solicitor
Giulio joined Shearman Bowen in June 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor, working under the supervision of Mark Bowen and Vivien Cochrane. He is currently assisting in the representation of clients accused of a wide range of offences, including sexual offences, fraud, and money laundering.
Prior to joining the team, Giulio worked as a paralegal at a highly regarded Legal 500 London criminal firm. He also gained extensive experience at the legal charity Advocate, specialising in family and employment law.
As an accredited police station representative, Giulio is qualified to represent and advise suspects during police interviews, covering all aspects of police investigations. He is committed to using pre-charge engagement to secure the best possible outcomes for his clients. Though early in his career, he has already achieved favourable results in helping clients navigate the criminal process and avoid prosecution where possible.
Giulio’s academic journey has fostered a strong interest in intellectual rigour, particularly in areas requiring analysis of complex legal and factual issues. He graduated from his LPC with distinction in 2024. He holds an LLB (Senior Status) from the University of Cambridge, where he graduated in 2020. Giulio previously completed a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford and holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Milan.
Giulio is a fluent Italian speaker (native).
