Connie Butler // Paralegal
Connie joined the team at Shearman Bowen in July 2025 as a Paralegal assisting Anna Ford, the firm’s Legal Aid Supervisor. Connie assists on a range of criminal matters, providing clients with support from the pre-interview stages through to sentencing. Connie will be assisting in the matter of Operation Afterburner.
Connie read Law at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2023. During her studies, she took part in pro bono work and gained practical experience at leading criminal chambers where she shadowed barristers at trials involving murder, drugs trafficking, and appeals in the Court of Appeal.
Connie plans to pursue the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in 2026.
