Reanne joined Shearman Bowen in June 2021 as a Trainee Solicitor having previously trained at a busy London based Criminal Defence Department since 2019. She has assisted in defending a number of high-profile criminal cases with allegations ranging from Historic Sexual Offences, Arson with Intent, Multi-handed Drug Conspiracy, Human Trafficking and Kidnapping.
She has an exceptional ability to work with vulnerable clients and handles sensitive cases with care and discretion. She has a keen eye for detail and a proven record of building and maintaining a good rapport with clients from the outset. Reanne has experiences with cases from the police station stage, and pre-charge, to post-conviction matters. She is presently undertaking her police station training with the firm and is able to represent clients detained at the police station, or invited to voluntary interview.
Reanne is fast developing her own client following as a result of her client focused approach.
As a former Magistrate and the youngest recorded member of the East London Bench, Reanne has amassed a wealth of experience within the court room.
Reanne is a member of the Women in Criminal Law Association, Young Legal Aid Lawyers and the European Criminal Law Association.
